Care should be exercised not to pull too strongly on the thin flexible leads of the LED

markers. They are quite strong but there is obviously a limit to the strain they can

withstand before being damaged. Particular care should be taken when removing

markers and drive boxes from the subject after a measurement session. It is advised that

the LED connectors should be removed from the drive box sockets before the markers or

drive boxes are pulled from the adhesive tape which attaches them to the subject. This

will minimise the risk of accidentally over-stressing the leads.
